WWE Superstars certainly live life on the edge. After all, these are people who make a living tossing themselves around the ring with acrobatic moves, so it’s not entirely surprising that some overly intense fans would try and get involved.
But one fan took it too far this past Tuesday at the taping for Thursday Night Smackdown. As fan favorite Dean Ambrose was greeting fans after his entrance, one fan got up over the barrier and charged at him, thankfully being tackled by security at the last minute. One fan in attendance managed to get the incident on Instagram.
It’s a good thing security reacted when it did, because some claim the fan in question was trying to stab Ambrose.

This isn’t the first time that fans have gotten involved when they shouldn’t have at a WWE show. Earlier this month, Roman Reigns had a briefcase thrown at him during a live show in Canada. Nobody was hurt, fortunately, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that some fans get a LITTLE too intense.
Granted, Ambrose may be known as “The Lunatic Fringe” to his fans and get a bit extreme in the ring, but that doesn’t mean he’s ok with people coming up to him and trying to tackle or stab him out of the stands.
Hopefully, this is the last time something like this happens for a while.
