Brad Paisley to be guest picker on first College Gameday

ESPN’s College Gameday is known for having some pretty big names on their show as celebrity guest “pickers.” From Katy Perry and her corndogs down in The Grove to Bill Murray getting into a scuffle with Lee Corso in Death Valley, there have been some pretty memorable moments.

While we don’t know what he will do just yet to make us remember him, we do know that country singer Brad Paisley will be in Fort Worth for the season’s first episode on Saturday. ESPN’s Sam Ponder gave him an official invitation via Twitter and he excitedly accepted.

The game for that city is between Wisconsin and Alabama, so there will be no home crowd favorite, although the Crimson Tide faithful do travel pretty well. There’s no telling who Paisley will pick to win the game, but I can almost bet that Corso disagrees with him.

The College Gameday season is here, folks, and they’re “coming…to your city.”

Tune into ESPN at 9 AM Eastern for the first episode.
