Many believe that Cardale Jones is now on the outside looking in when it comes to the Ohio State Buckeyes starting quarterback competition. However, he will not go down with a fight.
After his competition, J.T. Barrett, Jones has decided to cut out any possible distractions in an effort to remain in the race and prove his dedication to the team.
Jones shared the news on social media.
It is good to see that Jone is putting his full attention towards the Buckeyes’ national title defense.
Whether he is named the starter remains to be seen, but Jones appears willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win.
Ohio State’s season opener will take place on Sept. 7 when they travel to Blacksburg to face the Virginia Tech Hokies.
