Greyson Lambert named UGA starting quarterback

The Georgia Bulldogs have had a pretty big quarterback competition all summer long and it has now been decided. While the permanent starter is probably not in place just yet, we do know who will start the first game for the team on Saturday.

According to College Spun, Virginia transfer Greyson Lambert will start Saturday against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. The news was announced on the Paul Finebaum Show.

In 2014, Lambert threw for 1,659 yards, ten touchdowns, and eleven interceptions with the Cavaliers. He will surely be much more successful with Nick Chubb, Keith Marshall, and Sony Michel supporting him.
