Mark Dantonio comments on Redskins QB job

Washington’s coaching staff has informed players that quarterback Kirk Cousins will start in the team’s ‘ regular season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio commented on his former signal-caller getting the starting job.

Dantonio is thrilled and excited to watch his ex-player, Cousins, take on such a huge opportunity.

In the past two season Kirk Cousins has started eight games compared to Robert Griffin III’s 20. Griffin was the face of Washington, but if Cousins responds well and does his job, he will be the future of Washington.
