Finally, something that mixed martial arts fans have been waiting years for has reportedly happened. According to a report from Combat Press, Fedor Emelianenko has signed with the UFC.
It has been rumored for some time that “The Last Emperor” would join the top promotion in the sport, and now it appears that the deal is done.
The UFC, which is currently seeking an opponent for Fedor’s debut, has yet to officially confirm the news but they are expected to do so in the coming weeks, according to the report.
While there is no opponent or date set for Emelianenko’s UFC debut, there are rumblings that Fedor could serve as the co-main event at UFC 193 which will be held at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
