Ronda Rousey accepts invitation to Marine Corps Ball

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was recently asked to the Marine Corps Ball by U.S. Marine Jarrod Haschert. Thanks to a rescheduling of her title defense against Holly Holm — which pushed the fight from January in Las Vegas to November in Australia — Rousey will now be free when the ball takes place.

So, with the change in her schedule, Rousey delivered some good news to Haschert.

Rousey was recently asked by TMZ whether she would accept the invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball and her answer was exactly what the Marine likely wanted to hear.

Now, he can say he will have the most badass belle of the ball.

“I would go for sure,” Rousey said. “Do I call him? Or do I set up a time and place like Never Been Kissed and wait until the clock runs out and be  like ‘I’m here!’”

Even better for Haschert is that — gasp — the UFC champ definitely approves of his look.

“He’s cute,” Rousey said. “He’s gotta be a gentleman, though, I’m not a first date kind of girl. But, I dunno, we’ll see when I meet him.”

Could this be a match made in heaven? Only time will tell.
