Nick Saban is considered to be one of the best head coaches in the nation and players from around the nation believe he's the best as well.

CFB players believe Nick Saban is the nation’s best coach

Nick Saban has been considered one of the best head coaches in college football for quite some time, but a recent report proves that fact to be true. College football players around the nation are also in agreement that Saban is the best coach in the nation and one player in particular shared his opinion on why he believes that to be the case.

“Saban produces first-round picks and Heisman winners year in and year out. He never rebuilds.” — AAC player on why the Bama coach is still the boss

There is no denying that statement as being a fact. Alabama cranks out NFL players year after year, and they almost always seem to have a player in contention for being the best player in college football. Saban has a much bigger part in the individual success of his players than many give him credit for.

Throughout his nine seasons as the Alabama head football coach, Saban has compiled an 86-17 record to go along with three National Championship wins.

Alabama is one of the top championship contenders each and every season, which doesn’t seem likely to change anytime soon. As long as Saban is the coach of the Crimson Tide, they are going to continue having one of the best rosters in the nation. There are only a couple other coaches that could even be debated as better than Saban at this point in time, but opposing players talking about how great he is shows exactly how good of a coach he is.

Don’t be surprised if the Crimson Tide make another run at the second college football playoff. They did lose some key players from last years team, but they had plenty more talent on the roster to replace them.

Saban certainly is one of the best coaches of today’s college football, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up on the all-time list once he decides to retire.
