Elijah Holyfield commits to UGA, uses actual bulldogs

As was expected, four-star running back Elijah Holyfield announced today that he was committing to the University of Georgia. Holyfield announced his decision at his high school, Atlanta’s Woodward Academy, and even had a pair of bulldog puppies in tow.

Of course, local reporter Logan Booker was there to snap a picture of the adorable announcement.

Holyfield had received a great number of offers from other schools including Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Louisville, Arkansas and Auburn among many more. Instead, he will stay local and play for coach Mark Richt in Athens next season. Depending on what Nick Chubb decides to do after this season, Holyfield could be in a position to make an immediate impact for the Bulldogs next season.
