We learned something new about Georgia quarterback Greyson Lambert on Saturday: He knows the value of school tradition.
The transfer from University of Virginia led the Bulldogs to a 51-14 mollywapping of Louisiana-Monroe, completing 8-of-12 passes for 141 yards with two touchdowns. But his success was in part because he his stealthy o-line kept him on his feet.
So how will Lambert show his appreciation for not getting sacked? He’s taking his blockers out for ice cream of course.

It’s a great move by the new guy, who is carrying on a tradition started by a former Bulldog fave.
How did Greyson Lambert celebrate winning the starting #UGA QB job? He took a page out of Aaron Murray's handbook. https://t.co/ObKLejWj9k $

Lambert might want to by stock in soft-serve. If UGA’s offensive line keeps up that stellar level of play, Sunday ice cream runs are going to be a weekly thing.
Or maybe that won’t be so hard, since it sounds like Lambert is something of a connoisseur of the dessert.
Hunter Long, Greyson Lambert's roommate, said they celebrated the QB job with ice cream. Georgia's starting QB had cookies n cream.
