Bronco Mendenhall gave a great speech about Taysom Hill

The BYU Cougars got a huge win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers on a last-second Hail Mary. Unfortunately, the team lost quarterback Taysom Hill for the season after he suffered a foot injury during the game.

Head coach Bronco Mendenhall gave his team an inspirational speech about Hill saying that “there’s no one I respect more that I’ve ever coached.” This was a great way for Mendenhall to show his appreciation for what Hill did for the team. ESPN had the video.

Hill was lost for the 2014 season after a leg fracture forced him to take a fifth year of eligibility this year. He was regarded as a top NFL Draft prospect this year and he could have shown off his skills to scouts this year.
