Rapper Plies celebrates with USF after victory

The South Florida Bulls weren’t a team many were looking at heading into the 2015 season, but they are officially on the radar now following an epic win to open the season, and with a celebrity fan to boot!

After defeating the Florida A&M Rattlers last night by a score of 51-3, rap star Plies headed to the locker room and celebrated with freshman defensive end Vincent Jackson and Bulls coach Willie Taggart.

Jackson posted the encounter on his personal Twitter page.

Given how USF scored just 206 total points last season, last night’s victory gives fans plenty of reason to celebrate as well as be optimistic. Next week is a bit of a challenge, as the team travels to Tallahassee to play Florida State on the 12th, but a strong performance in what was essentially a tune-up game should rally the Bulls so they at least put up the best fight they can against the Seminoles.

With Plies singing their praises as well, it could end up being a much-improved season for the Bulls in Tampa.
