Video: Purdue starts off season with pick-six

The Purdue Boilermakers and Marshall Thundering Herd kicked off their 2015 campaigns on Sunday afternoon, but things got off to a rough start for Purdue.

On the opening drive of the game, quarterback Austin Appleby attempted to open up the offense by targeting a receiver downfield, but the only thing he found was an eager defender waiting for the ball. After the interception, Marshall was able to take it to the house.

This isn’t how you want your season to start off.

Luckily for Purdue, they were able to recover and evened the score at 7 later in the first quarter.
