Video: Virginia Tech intercepts Ohio State’s Cardale Jones

The Virginia Tech Hokies and Ohio State Buckeyes are facing off this evening in the college football game of the week to open up their respective seasons. Ohio State got off to the early 14-0 lead, but the Hokies have not given up and have battled back to being down just 14-10.

After a 51-yard touchdown pass cut the deficit to 14-7, Virginia Tech was able to set up a field goal by forcing a clutch interception off of Ohio State starting quarterback Cardale Jones.

Whether the Hokies win this game or not, they are playing extremely well after getting run over early. Many teams would have folded on themselves after that kind of a start, but not Frank Beamer’s Hokies. If they can continue putting pressure on Jones and forcing tough throws, they may just be able to hang in this game.
