Vanderbilt unveils new ‘Deep Water’ unis for Georgia game

-

The Vanderbilt Commodores are not often discussed as a football powerhouse. In fact, there isn’t much about the football program that gets people excited.

That is, however, up until now.

On Tuesday, Vanderbilt unveiled some new uniforms — dubbed “Deep Water” — that will be worn against Mark Richt’s Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday in Nashville.

The fancy new uniforms feature a grey jersey, grey pants and a very unique water-themed helmet that features a large anchor logo and chrome facemask. On the pants, Vandy will sport their popular “Anchor Down” phrase while the jerseys are accented with some light gold numbers.

Check out the impressive new look below.

Vanderbilt and Georgia will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.
