Buckeyes overwhelming Bovada title favorite

The Ohio State Buckeyes are definitely the team to beat in 2015, and the oddsmakers feel the same way.

Per Bovada.lv, the odds of Ohio State repeating as national champions are 7-4, with the Alabama Crimson Tide right behind them at 8-1. Keep in mind that before the team’s season opener against Virginia Tech on Monday, the odds were 5-2.

But there is little reason to believe that Ohio State WON’T repeat as champions this season. Save for wide receiver Devin Smith, no key players were lost to either graduation or the NFL Draft, or both. This team is strong and has depth from top to bottom, and the fact that the team beat the Hokies without key defensive player Joey Bosa proves it.

Simply put, there is little reason to believe that the Buckeyes should not win another championship this season.

The full odds can be seen below.
