The Tennessee Volunteers are finally relevant in college football once again as they are ranked in the AP Top 25 for the first time in a long time. They have a huge Top 25 match-up with the Oklahoma Sooners later on today and it’s slated to be a great game.
Hopefully, the Volunteers are able to have a much better day against the Sooners than they have in the past. According to someone on Twitter by the name of “NotDannyFord”, the Vols have a pretty awful record against ranked opponents over the last few years.
In their last 35 games against ranked opponents, Tennessee is 2-33.
The only 2 wins have come against S.Car.#RockyBottom

Wow, what a pretty crazy stat. How must Gamecock fans feel about being the only to be beaten by the Volunteers.
Let’s hope this game doesn’t end up being a blowout.
