BYU QB Tanner Mangum wins with another Hail Mary

Every so often, lightning strikes twice. Such was the case for BYU Cougars quarterback Tanner Mangum, who improved the Cougars’ record to 2-0 with another game-winning Hail Mary touchdown pass in last night’s game against Boise State.

With 45 seconds remaining, Mangum went long and completed a 35 yard pass to receiver Mitchell Juergens to put the Cougars up 31-24.

To add another nail in the coffin in the upset of the No. 20 Broncos, BYU landed an interception and returned it for a touchdown 15 seconds later. Needless to say, BYU is officially a team to watch in 2015.
