Marcus Mariota’s first career TD pass is a beauty

It didn’t take long for former Oregon Duck Marcus Mariota to make an impact in the NFL, as he connected with Tennessee Titans teammate Kendall Wright for his first career touchdown pass on his first career series!

After faking a handoff, Mariota quickly fired the ball to Wright, who took the ball to the end zone for a 52 yard score.

The same could not be said for opposing quarterback Jameis Winston, who was drafted first overall just one pick ahead of Mariota last spring. On his first pass attempt, he was intercepted by Titans cornerback Coty Sensabaugh, who returned the ball 26 yards for a touchdown.

The Titans are up 14-0 in the first quarter. Stay with Campus Sports for more updates on this game and others!
