Ronda Rousey: ‘I’m the highest paid coach in the UFC’

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey kicked off her week with an appearance on ‘The Ellen Show’ with Ellen DeGeneres on Monday morning.

During that appearance, Rousey was able to pass along some news she was very proud of.

According to Rousey, who is one of the highest paid female athletes in the world, she is also the highest paid fighter currently under contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

“I’m the highest paid fighter in the UFC,” Rousey said.  “It’s pretty cool. It’s fun to say.”

Rousey also showed off some of her moves by sending one of the show’s producers on a ride with her signature throw.

Rousey is currently preparing for her Nov. title defense against undefeated challenger Holly Holm — which will take place in the UFC 193 headliner in Australia.

In the meantime, Rousey will continue her media tour and keep her name in the headlines as she continues to put together one of the best years of her career.
