Class of 2016 five-star small forward Miles Bridges, out of West Virginia’s Huntington Prep, has narrowed his list to three schools. In an announcement on his personal Twitter page, Bridges posted that the race was now down to Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan State.
Each program is one at which Bridges, who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 220 pounds, could be an immediate impact player. Kentucky is a program that has built superstar after superstar under coach John Calipari, while Tom Izzo builds great all-around players and leaders at Michigan State. The one wild card is Indiana, a program that has struggled under Tom Crean for the past couple of years. But if Bridges chooses the Hoosiers, a turnaround could happen sooner rather than later.
Either way, whichever program Bridges picks, they could end up being the envy of the other two.
