After having two wins already under their belt, the BYU Cougars are sending out waves of inspiration over their town of Provo. And with their proclivity toward game ending Hail Mary’s, you would think that BYU might consider converting to Catholicism.
One Mormon musical artist, James Curran, also known as James the Mormon, was more than motivated by the Cougar’s wins.
Curran wrote the lyrics to “Dreamin” two days after their last win against Boise last Saturday. And less than two days later, the BYU football team had their own original video dedicated to their already riveting season.
The video is complete with rousing runouts, vintage videos, highlights plays from last season, and even a tribute to Taysom Hill, the lead quarterback who suffered a lisfranc fracture at the first game of the season – subsequently ending his college football career.
The video also didn’t leave out a shot of their head coach, Bronco Mendenhall, who will be celebrating his tenth year as BYU’s head coach.

Last season the BYU Cougars finished the season 8-5. But with Freshman quarterback, Tanner Mangum, pushing the limits and a rally of support coming from their town of Provo, the Cougars might be doing a little more than dreamin’ this season.
