Things began to look like they were improving for the Boston College offense, but they took a massive change for the worse. Florida State was able to force a fumble early on in the fourth quarterback with the Eagles driving and defensive back Jalen Ramsey was able to scoop the football up and return it 36 yards for a touchdown.
Florida State hasn’t looked good this evening, but they have done just enough to open up a 14-0 lead.
Boston College isn’t going to allow this play to shut them down, but it certainly goes a long ways towards securing a win for the Florida State program. It is a major disappointment to say the least, but Florida State was expected to win the game in a big way coming in. More than likely the game is over following this play and it is tough to see the game change on this type of a Boston College mistake.
