Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are playing their third game of the new era of football and are currently 1-1 on the season. They got off to a quick start to this afternoon’s game with a defensive takeaway that led to a touchdown.
Jake Rudock opened up the scoring for Michigan with a nice five-yard touchdown pass to star running back De’Veon Smith.
Michigan certainly looks like a much better football team than they were in Week 1 and there is plenty more potential for them to grow into. Smith has been a big part of the early improvement that they have made and he has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon. It will be interesting to see if the Wolverines can take care of business in blowout fashion like they are expected to against UNLV this afternoon.
Check out the four-yard touchdown pass from Rudock to Smith for yourself and tune into the game on the Big Ten Network.
