The Ohio State Buckeyes had a very tough time with the Northern Illinois Huskies on Saturday. The quarterback play for the Buckeyes was pretty rough as they team committed five turnovers on the day.
Cardale Jones threw two interceptions early in the game as was eventually benched for J.T. Barrett. However, Barrett didn’t play much better as he threw for under 100 yards and a touchdown.
According to College Spun, head coach Urban Meyer may be ready to stick with one quarterback for the foreseeable future. This could be an interesting development.
Meyer said he may be ready to stick with one QB: "I do believe in game reps. I'm going to spend a long time thinking about that."

"I don't know that right now." – Urban Meyer when asked if he knows who his starting quarterback is

Meyer said the Buckeyes stayed with Barrett because they felt he was the best chance to move the ball down the field.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Barrett is the starter for next week, but anything can happen over the next week. Either way, the team should have a much better time on the field as they welcome in the Western Michigan Broncos.
