Nolan Carroll is a veteran NFL defensive back and one of the key players for the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense. His team wasn’t able to pull out a victory yesterday against the Dallas Cowboys, but he could very well have made the play of the game. Carroll saw a fan running onto the field and sized him up before taking him down.
Check out the video of Carroll tackling the fan during the game and throwing him onto the ground:
Obviously Carroll was being careful with the fan, but it was also obvious by the way he threw him down that the interruption wasn’t very appreciated.
Philadelphia dropped to 0-2 on the season after falling to the Cowboys by a final score of 20-10. There are plenty of reasons to be concerned for the Eagles and their fans, but at least they had one bright spot in the game. It will be very interesting to see how the team responds to the rough start and whether or not they can get their season back on track.
All of that being, it is always entertaining seeing fans get tackled by players. Unfortunately, running onto a professional sports field can result in life changing charges and it wouldn’t be surprising to see this fan pay dearly for making the mistake of charging onto the field and getting blown up by an NFL defensive back.
