Another day, another injury for the Dallas Cowboys.
On Tuesday morning, Ed Werder of ESPN reported that star tight end Jason Witten could be out for this weekend’s Week 3 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons at AT&T Stadium.
Witten is reportedly dealing with two sprained ankles and a sprained knee.
Almost impossible to keep @JasonWitten off field, but #Cowboys TE "not a lock'' to play b/c two sprained ankles, sprained knee, per source.

If anyone will be able to tough it out through the injury, it would be Witten.
The All-Pro has mad 133 consecutive starts which ranks first among active NFL tight ends. If the pain is too much, however, the Cowboys will have to rely on backup tight end Gavin Escobar to come up with the big plays for quarterback Brandon Weeden.
