Kentucky recruit De’Aaron Fox helps fan meet John Calipari

Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari has been making the rounds around the country this week as he tries to sure up some commits for the 2016 class. On Monday, Calipari was in Houston visiting with De’Aaron Fox, a four-star point guard for next year’s recruiting class.

According to College Basketball Talk, Fox wasn’t the only who had the chance to meet Calipari. Seth Barnett is a diehard Wildcats fan who moved to Houston when his father got a job there. Fox took the opportunity to help his classmate meet one of his favorite people.

Some people may look at this as Fox trying to gain favor with the Big Blue Nation, but I see this as a nice gesture from a genuine person. There is such a thing as karma and Fox is certainly on her good side after this generous act.

Wherever he decides to play his college ball, Fox should be successful. I, for one, hope he does very well.
