Michigan State loses Marvin Clark for 6-8 weeks

Tom Izzo and his Michigan State Spartans will be without a potential starter for the next six to eight weeks, following a foot injury. The news was announced earlier this week, however, no details of the injury were given.

Last season, Clark averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest during the team’s trip to the Final Four.

With practices set to begin soon, it is a rough setback for the power forward.

Clark will be battling with five-star freshman Deyonta Davis leading up to the 2015-16 college basketball season, but the two month timetable for his return may be all that it takes for him to lose any potential shot at beginning the season at the four position.
