Alabama fan breaks Ole Miss fan’s jaw after loss

Unfortunately for 22-year-old Ole Miss student, Ryan Moore, the tackles from the Alabama-Ole Miss game on Saturday night weren’t reserved to plays on the field.

According to a report from, Moore’s jaw was broken in two places by an angry Alabama fan when he was “sucker punched” sometime early Sunday morning after the game ended in downtown Tuscaloosa.

Apparently, Moore was walking to his car with a group of friends, celebrating and shouting when the irate Alabama fan, a man described as a 220-pound white male with salt and pepper hair, blindsided Moore. After Moore was punched the Alabama fan could not be found.

The Alabama fan also reported to have been walking with a woman and two little girls. What a great way to lead by example, huh?

The report states that and since the incident Moore has been “in and out” or surgery ever since the Ole Miss win and a picture on’s Twitter shows a picture of a pretty sombre Moore with a face wrapped in bandages.

Once he is feeling better the next step will be to file a complaint with the University Police Department and the Tuscaloosa Police Department. Anyone who has any information about the incident is urged to contact Moore’s father, Mike Moore at 662-322-1822.

Feel better, Ryan Moore!
