Florida to host some top recruits for Tennessee game

The Florida Gators will host the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend, and putting on a good show this weekend means a lot more than it usually does. Per a Tweet from Nick de la Torre of GatorCountry.com, the university will have plenty of top recruits in attendance for the game.

Andrew Spivey, of the same website, went so far as to say just who would be in attendance.

Well, I guess the pressure is on now, isn’t it? Craig-Myers currently stars at Tampa Catholic High School and ranks 43rd in the ESPN Top 300 and has offers from practically every school in the country. The four-star linebacker in Moon, however, is only a verbal commit to the program and this game could mean taking one step closer to officially signing him.

The long and short of it is that Florida needs to be at its absolute best in this game if so many recruits are going to be in attendance. This is an opportunity to show these young man just what they can be a part of if they come to Gainesville to play for coach Jim McElwain, who their teammates will be, what a fully packed stadium sounds like for an SEC game, what being a Gator is all about. To put it bluntly, this game could easily sway some recruits’ decisions about where to play their college ball.

Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS, so be sure to tune in!
