What stared off as an innocent dance-off between two Texas drill teams last Friday quickly escalated into an all out brawl after an altercation between two of the dancers became physical, according to Fox 4.
The footage of the start of the fight between Wilmer Hutchins High School and James Madison High School dancers that took place after the game seemed harmless and accidental enough, however, the conflict eventually got so heated that the whole team and some adults became involved in the altercation.
As you can imagine, the Dallas Independent School District strongly condemns violence and in the aftermath of the brawl issued a statement that promised strict disciplinary action:
“Impromptu dance-offs are not part of the approved performance for dance teams and fighting is never acceptable. Disciplinary actions will be taken as appropriate.”
Come on ladies. Let’s keep it classy, huh?
