For the fourth week in a row, Ohio State Buckeyes’ head coach Urban Meyer announced the he will start Cardale Jones at quarterback over J.T. Barrett. Aside from the first game against Virginia Tech, Jones hasn’t performed up to peak standards and has been benched in favor of Barrett.
According to College Spun, fans of the Buckeyes aren’t very happy with the fact that Jones is making his fourth consecutive start, especially after his poor performance last week. Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
It seems like fans really want to see J.T. get the start at least once this season, but I think fans are blowing this out of proportion. Barrett has made an appearance in every game this season, so it’s likely he will make another one this week.
I wonder how some of these fans will feel if Jones goes out and tears it up against Western Michigan? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Ohio State kicks off their game with the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and the game can be seen on ABC.
