Midland Lee kicker Luis Arnada is the latest high school football player to make contact with a referee, but this is not in the way that you would likely imagine.
Instead, Arnada was going through a routine field goal attempt when his kick came off the ground lower than usual and cracked the umpire right in the head. Luckily for Midland Lee and Arnada, the ball deflected through the upright.
Perhaps even more impressive is that the ball went from the referee’s head to the crossbar and THEN through the uprights.
Arnada probably couldn’t repeat that if he tried.
Have a look.
Congratulations to Arnada for a once in a lifetime kick.
