It looks like the Alabama Crimson Tide will be down a piece of their depth chart on the special teams for sometime now. It was reported that sophomore kicker Gunnar Raborn was arrested on DUI charges on Thursday afternoon.
SEC Country reported the news on Thursday evening that he had been arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. During his freshman season, Raborn was 9-10 on extra points and 2-3 on field goals.
Tide Sports’s Adam Suttles reported after the news broke that head coach Nick Saban had suspended Raborn indefinitely. Let’s hope that starting kicker Adam Griffith doesn’t start to struggle. That certainly wouldn’t be good the Tide.
