David Blough was named the Purdue Boilermakers’ starting quarterback earlier this week and is getting off to a good start in his first career college game. Head coach Darrell Hazell has been very high on Blough and the Purdue fan base hasn’t been more excited about a quarterback in quite some time.
Purdue is facing a very tough Bowling Green Falcons’ football team that has one of the top offenses in the nation.
Bowling Green is up 14-7 on the Boilermakers right now, but the Boilermakers saw Blough score his first career touchdown on their last drive. He took in a touchdown on fourth and goal to score for the Boilermakers. Blough is off to a good start, but he’ll have to keep playing at an extremely high level to have a chance at winning today’s game.
Check out Blough scoring his first touchdown on fourth and goal for yourself:
You face a 4th-and-goal, you give it to the true freshman making his first start. Touchdown, @BoilerFootball! http://t.co/EW7Nvd9CwU
