Virginia Tech’s staff will be missing a coach on Saturday against East Carolina, according to NBCSports.com.
The Hokies announced just before their game that offensive line coach Stacy Searels did not make the trip to Greenville with the team due to sciatic nerve pain. Bryan Stinespring, tight ends coach, will assume Searels’ position during his absence.
Searels is in his second year with Virginia Tech.
It will be interesting to see how much Searels’ presence will be missed as the Hokies look to get their third straight victory since losing their opener against no. 1 Ohio State. ECU will look to try and snap their three game losing streak.
