Duke dismisses DB T.J. Douglas from team

The Duke Blue Devils have dismissed defensive back TJ Douglas. Duke head coach David Cutcliffe made the announcement on Sunday.

No reason was given for Douglas’ dismissal other than your usual “violation of program policy.”

Douglas, a redshirt freshman, has been suspended since the spring and he will now need to look for a new home if he wishes to continue his college football career.

Last season, Douglas played in 12 games and recorded one tackle.
