Boston College RB Jon Hilliman out with broken foot

Bad news came for Boston College Eagles running back Jon Hilliman earlier today when it was announced that Hilliman would be out indefinitely with a broken foot after undergoing surgery yesterday.

The sophomore was injured in Saturday night’s winning game against Northern Illinois, in which Hilliman rushed for a touchdown and 119 yards, and there is no clear timetable for his return.

In the meantime BC head coach, Steve Addazio, is going to have figure out a plan B.

Most likely Hilliman will be replaced by Tyler Rouse, the second running back in the team with pretty impressive stats. He’s got 160 rushing yards and five touchdowns under his belt, so BC should start panicking just yet.
