Leonard Fournette huge Heisman favorite after Week 4

LSU running back Leonard Fournette now boasts the best rushing average in the FBS. He has ran for 631 yards in just three games, which is good enough for over 210 yards per game.

To add on to that, Fournette has ran for eight touchdowns as well as having gone for over 200 yards in his last two games. According to College Spun, Fournette is now an overwhelming favorite in the Heisman race per the Bovada odds. His odds went from 11/2 last week to an astounding 3/2.

The closest person to Fournette right now is Georgia running back Nick Chubb and TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin who are both at 7/1 odds. That is still a very large gap for either of them to overcome.

We are only in Week 5 and there is still a ton of football to be played. However, Fournette is showing everyone enough to keep him at the top of the race and there’s no reason to believe that he will be slowing down anytime soon.
