Top JUCO DB Jamarcus King de-commits from Auburn

The Auburn Tigers’ underachieving season has officially started to affect recruiting, as junior college defensive back Jamarcus King officially de-committed from the program Saturday evening. King posted the following statement on his personal Twitter page.

Currently at Kansas’ Coffeyville Community College, King had also drawn interest from a number of schools including Utah, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Florida, Baylor and many others before committing to Auburn, Given how the Tigers only seem to have gotten worse ever since needing overtime to beat FCS squad Jacksonville State in Week 2, losing to SEC rivals LSU and Mississippi State since then, perhaps King is having second thoughts about joining a program whose future isn’t looking 100 percent bright.

Auburn is still considered the favorite to land King, but Campus Sports will update this story once any new information becomes available.
