Arizona center Kaleb Tarczewski is expected to return from injury this weekend, according to Wildcats coach Sean Miller. Miller spoke to reporters this weekend, including Scott Phillips of NBC Sports’ College Basketball Talk, and said that Tarczewski could end up playing spot minutes against Arizona State tomorrow.
Tarczewski, a senior from New Hampshire, has missed the last games due to a foot injury suffered in a game against Santa Clara back in November. He is averaging 8.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while shooting 57.7 percent from the field and brings great size at seven feet tall, 245 pounds.
Miller said that Tarczewski’s minutes could be monitored so that he can get his legs back under him and work his way back into game shape, but there’s no denying that his return will be welcome as it will allow Ryan Anderson to return to the 4.
