LSU and Auburn are two schools reportedly interested in the services of former Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight, according to Corey Masisak of SEC Country.
The two Tiger schools join Texas A&M in the pursuit of Knight, with the Aggies the clear favorites and the team most in need of a quarterback after losing both Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray to transfers after the regular season.
The truth is that for any of these schools, Knight would be a fine addition. A former four-star recruit from San Antonio, he threw for 3,424 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for 853 yards and eight scores in three years with the Sooners, even after losing his starting job to walk-on Baker Mayfield this season.
Knight is also an excellent leader, an important quality in any quarterback. Be sure to stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates as his decision day draws closer!
