Some potentially major news coming out of Foxborough on Monday, and it involves the face of the New England Patriots.
According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, quarterback Tom Brady is suffering from a high ankle sprain. No information was given as to when the injury may have occurred, but a high ankle sprain is nothing to scoff it.
Per source, Patriots QB Tom Brady has a high ankle sprain. Not an ideal result, but Brady's played through worse in the past.

As Breer pointed out, Brady has played through worse injuries. However, if the week off can’t get him healed right, whichever team the Patriots face will likely try to expose the injured ankle. Whether it’s startling him with blitz packages or just making him move more than usual, it’s going to be an interesting time seeing how much the injury impacts Brady’s play.
For those wondering, though, Brady will be in the lineup on January 16. That goes without question.
