Dabo Swinney is as rare a personality as is his name. He’s beloved in South Carolina for brining a dormant Clemson program back to national relevance and for being a welcome change from the normal, stoic personalities that are commonplace in college football.
Since taking over in 2008 he’s gone 75-26, produced a number of NFL draft picks and not to mention, he’s got the Tigers playing in the National Championship game.
Speaking of his name, Dabo was again being Dabo in a press conference Tuesday when he commented on his name.
Dabo on his name: "This is honest to God truth. I had no idea my name was even William until like the 3rd grade because of those scantrons."

The real mystery is how you go from being William to Dabo.
