Following the Alabama Crimson Tide’s dominant victory over the Michigan State Spartans in the College Football Playoff semifinal, head coach Nick Saban celebrated by busting out what were apparently some dance moves.
The awkward moves took the blogosphere by storm and Saban also caught some backlash from a close family member, his daughter Kristen.
Saban discussed the light-hearted criticism he received from his daughter during his media day appearance.
“I really didn’t want to dance,” Saban said, via USA TODAY Sports. “I really do have some moves. I didn’t want to let them all out. I really was criticized pretty harshly by Kristen, who has seen me dance before and knows I can be better. She thought my effort was not real good.”
For those who don’t recall, here was the highlight of Saban’s short-lived dancing career.

While it may not have been the best dance we’ve ever seen, it will be interesting to see if the “T-rex” makes another appearance if Alabama takes down Clemson in the national championship game.
