Report: Chip Kelly visited Alabama this week

Former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was fired just a few weeks ago and immediately his name came up with some jobs across the board in college football. Despite him already stating that he wants to stay in the NFL, it seems like he was visiting with one of the country’s top college football programs.

According to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, Kelly visited with the Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff in Tuscaloosa this week. No reason for the visit was given, but it does certainly seem pretty curious as to why he would visit them just days before the team’s national championship game.

Kelly spent four seasons with the Oregon Ducks, won three PAC-12 championships, and accumulated a record of 46-7 before leaving for the NFL in 2013.

What do you think, Crimson Tide fans? Would Kelly be a good addition to their coaching staff?
