Brandon Allen accepts Senior Bowl invite

After throwing for 3,440 yards and 30 touchdowns in 2015 and leading the Arkansas Razorbacks to an 8-5 record, quarterback Brandon Allen is heading to the Senior Bowl.

The senior signal caller joins six other quarterbacks in Mobile, Alabama for the annual game. Allen now joins Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott as the only other quarterback representative from the SEC.

During his career at Arkansas, Allen put up some pretty impressive numbers, putting up 7,463 yards and 64 touchdowns. The one downside is that he completed just 57 percent of his passes.

With Allen going to the Senior Bowl, the Razorbacks now have three players playing in the game. The other two being guard Sebastian Tretola and running back Jonathan Williams. Williams will be the key player to watch after missing the entire 2015 regular season, and only getting on the field during a victory formation snap in Arkansas’ bowl game.
