Carmelo excited for Boeheim’s return from suspension

Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks star and the man who led the Orange to a national championship in 2003, thinks it’s “about damn time,” his former coach–Jim Boeheim–returns from a suspension.

Boeheim makes his return against North Carolina, a conference rival, after a nine game suspension for recruiting violations. It’s a good time for the coach to come back.  His Orange sit in the cellar of ACC standings, with a record of 0-3, 10-6 overall.

I can’t recall a time the Orange started a season so poorly. It’s clear they’re lost without their kingpin.
