Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson is one of the best athletes in the country. He finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting this season and helped lead the Tigers to their first national championship game since 1981.
The Alabama Crimson Tide certainly have a big task in trying to stop Watson in the game on Monday. They have been doing all they can to simulate him practice, even bringing in four-star enrollee Jalen Hurts to try and emulate him, however, defensive coordinator Kirby Smart admitted on Saturday that they haven’t been able to get a good feel for Watson yet.
Kirby Smart: "If we could simulate what Deshaun does in practice that guy would be starting for us at QB."

Watson has been on fire all season long and he will be tough for the Crimson Tide to stop. If Smart, who is leaving to take over the Georgia Bulldogs in 2016 after this game, can shut him down, it would be one final hurrah for the coach.
